Cycle Shelters
Encouraging people to be healthy and cycle requires the provision of suitable facilities for cycling infrastructure. We offer Cycle shelters which are designed to complement any landscape whilst fulfilling the practical purpose of a secure storage solution with low maintenance parking solutions for a variety of sites or schemes. Our cycle shelters are ergonomically designed and are cost effective, and are weather and vandal resistant and offer protection from the elements. They can secure from two cycles to a couple of hundred and all of our shelters can be used in conjunction with any of our cycle stands. Single units can be placed alongside or opposite each other to form a larger cycle storage area.

We manufacture shelters that can be used to create a dedicated cycling area and to protect cycles from the British weather, whilst keeping them secure. Some shelters offer adjustable levelling feet for on-site positioning. Certain shelters can help contribute towards gaining ENE8 Cycle storage credits when used in the appropriate situation under the Code for Sustainable Homes. Cycle stands and shelters can be configured to meet the BREEAM building standard.

We can make any of our shelters to your unique specification and can include Built-in solar paneled LED lighting for added security. We can offer optional gates in our shelter designs for added security with a manual or digital mechanical locking mechanism. For larger shelters we can include a gate closing gas strut option to ensure that gates are securely closed behind cyclists as they enter and exit the unit.

All products are manufactured in mild steel sections and are ‘hot dipped’ galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 for maxium corrosion resistance. The shelter roof and back and optional side panels can be supplied in either plastisol coated corrugated steel or with a clear or opaque anti vandal PETG glazing. All the shelters can be polyester powder coated (painted) to any standard BS or RAL series colour. Our shelters are suitable for most ground and surface types.
