Retractable Bollards

Retractable bollards (Also known as telescopic security posts) offer a highly secure and convenient method of physical access control, protection and demarcation. The inner post simply raises vertically from the host ground tube and locks in the upright position with a highly secure integral push button lock, providing a convenient way of securing most sites and locations. Unlike removable bollards they do not need to be removed and stored as once lowered into the ‘down’ position with the lid down there is no trip hazard and the post is completely flush.

These are a group of functional bollards that can be used to manage traffic flow by either blocking or allowing traffic into areas allocated to pedestrians only, or simply act as a barrier in front of offices, hospitals and garages. All these bollards in mild steel or with ornate polymer inners are fully retractable into the ground.
The gas lift version consists of a gas strut fitted inside the bollard which reduces the lifting weight of the bollard by up to 70%, to allowing easier operation. This is available on most variant as an option and is standard on some units.
